The Clutha River Jet Boat Tours goes for 60 minutes. On the way, customers will be given a commentary of the history of the area and view some of New Zealand's best examples of Chinese and European gold miners huts, rock shelters, water races and the legendary Doctors Point Gold Mine all mixed up with Hamilton Jet spins and other thrilling manoeuvres.
One of the more popular tours is the Twilight Heritage Tour. On this trip you will experience all of the above with the added bonus of Central Otago's spectacular evening light. This tour departs Alexandra boat ramp at 6pm and from Clyde (bottom of Miners Lane) on request.
